Where are you from? Born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Raised in Denton, Texas. How long have you been making music? My cousin Don got me more deeply involved within the music by the age of 12 ; I'm now 28. Begin teaching myself how to make instrumentals, song write, audio engineer and rap. Singing is a God Given Talent. I can carry a few notes ha How many songs /albums have you released to date? I previously released 2 albums on Datpiff (Respect The Crown -2014) (90s Baby - 2015). Also, released (Memories of Our Past -2016) via Soundcloud but then took it down late 2017. Signed a one year Artist Development contract with Bentley Records (2016-2017). Released 5 singles with minimal marketing & promotion. Now, I'm here with Sonorous Records Inc and ready to touch souls with great records. Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it? ‘Final Hour’ and nearly all of my music comes from my skills of storytelling. Not always about my life. I tend to fall within a deep focus after producing the beat and create lyrics that are relatable to many beings around the world. Hit records are what I aim for. That was in mind ; but also wanted to remain true to self and my craft. Speak from the soul. How have you ended up in the music industry? As I stated before, signed my Artist Development deal back in 2016. I thought that was my foot in the door. Learned quickly that wasn't the case. After releasing a few singles I came to realization that I needed to focus more on my music and get away from my previous label. Exited my contract, continued making new music then submitted material to Sonorous Records A&R. Sooner than later I had an offer and accepted. What do you think of the music industry in 2018? Won't say that I'm a fan of all the music being released. But iAM a fan of artistry being displayed. I'm an artist who takes pride within delivering lyrics from the soul. Therefore, I'd rather hear records that touches whoever on a massive scale then to turn up! Who do you think the most influential artist? Lil Wayne & Kanye West. No explanation needed. Their collection (discography) and work ethic is self explanatory. Who have you collaborated with so far in your career? Only locals. No well known or BIG Name artist. I wouldn't mind working with some of the best...as of now, focused on perfecting myself and reaching new heights. How do you think you differ from other artists? I'm unique. As a producer I have my own sound. Lyrically I'm capable of getting very deep while showcasing my vocal capabilities. Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration? Kanye West - as an artist and producer. What was the first album you bought? Lil Wayne - Tha Carter i What’s your favourite song at the moment? To be honest it's myself. A song that is unreleased and will be on my EP & Album. Track Title - Emotional Rollercoaster. If you had to sell your music collection tomorrow, what album would you leave in your drawer? The same album that's unreleased still to date. My first project. (S.G.M - Simply Good Music) What is your favourite saying? Born Broke. Die Rich. Keep it moving. What other hobbies or interests do you have? I grew up very active and highly favored within sports. I'm an awesome athlete. Simply wasn't The Dream. So yeah...sports. Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project? I've been working on my album for an entire year now. Titled VIRGO because I'm a Virgo. It contains some pretty catchy tunes. Entirely produced and written by myself. Before the release of the album, soon to come is The EP. Also, produced and written by myself and contains a collection of stories. What’s in the pipeline after this project? First my single ‘Final Hour’ secondly, The EP. Afterwards, my album then many more singles.
